Mike Kelly joins Genesis as our Sales Director for the Telecom Business Unit, focused on unlocking new market opportunities and expanding the company’s mobile business footprint across the UK and Europe. With over 25 years of expertise in securing business and driving market diversification, Mike is pivotal in advancing Genesis’s growth and strategic goals within the telecom sector. Before joining Genesis in October 2024, Mike held senior sales leadership roles with global telecom giants, including Rakuten, Motorola, Ericsson, and Huawei Technologies. Launching his career in GSM, Mike has been a part of every major mobile technology evolution, from 2G to 5G and ORAN, across the UK and Europe. Most recently, he served as Sales Director at Rakuten, spearheading initiatives in Open RAN and cloud-based telecom solutions, honing his expertise in next-generation networks. Mike’s global perspective brings an acute understanding of market trends, client needs, and the intricate telecommunications ecosystem. Known for building enduring partnerships, he is committed to delivering outstanding results while prioritizing value, trust, and long-term satisfaction for clients.
